| Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid opens 4th ordinary session of FNC |  | | On behalf of UAE President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has opened today the 4th ordinary session of the 15th Legislative Chapter of the Federal National Council (FNC).
The opening ceremony began with the arrival of Sheikh Mohammed at the FNC headquarters. He was welcomed by FNC Speaker Mohammed Ahmed Al Murr, and members of the general secretariat; following which, the national anthem of the UAE was played and Sheikh Mohammed inspected the guard of honor and exchanged greetings before proceeding to Zayed Hall accompanied by the crown princes and deputy rulers of the Emirates.
After a recitation from the Holy Quran, Sheikh Mohammad opened the 4th session of the 15th legislative chapter of FNC, then, delivered the keynote speech where he affirmed the essential role of the council as a true representation of the people and a bridge between citizens and the Government.
Sheikh Mohammed called on members of FNC to carry out their national duty with utmost efficiency and devotion so as to preserve the resources of the country and provide its people all means of security, social, economic and political stability.
Speaker of Federal National Council (FNC) Mohammed Ahmed Al Murr, then, delivered a speech thanking President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Their Highnesses Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates, for their ongoing support to the FNC’s march to better serve the UAE citizens and the country.
Present at the opening ceremony where Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Deputy Ruler and Finance Minister Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ajman Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Fujairah Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Umm Al Qaiwain Sheikh Rashid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mu'alla and Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Abu Dhabi Ruler’s Representative in the Western Region Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Deputy Minister of Presidential Affairs Ahmed Juma Al Zaabi, Deputy Chairman of Dubai Police and Public Security Lieutenant General Dhahi Khalfan, Director of Dubai Ruler’s Office Lt.
